What will my PRP for Hair Restoration experience be like?
Every hair restoration treatment plan begins with a comprehensive hair and scalp assessment, during which Dr. Matt will identify reversible causes of hair loss and suggest a treatment plan specific to you and your needs. If your plan includes PRP for hair restoration, your treatment will begin with a blood draw. Your small blood sample is subsequently spun in our custom centrifuge, allowing us to isolate and extract your body’s own platelets for careful re-injection into the scalp. We’ll apply a topical anesthetic to the treatment area to keep you comfortable throughout the 45 minute treatment. Following your PRP for hair restoration treatment, you may experience slight irritation and/or redness at the injection sites for one to three days.
