What will my PRP for Skin Rejuvenation experience be like?
PRP treatments at Philosophy MD are offered by Dr. Bri, Dr. Matt, and our team of expert registered nurses, and begin with a blood draw. Your small blood sample is subsequently spun in our custom centrifuge, allowing us to isolate and extract your body’s own platelets for careful re-injection under your skin. We’ll apply a topical anesthetic to the treatment area(s) to keep you comfortable throughout the 30 minute treatment—just sit back and relax as micro-injections are skillfully applied under your skin. Following your PRP for skin rejuvenation treatment, you may experience slight irritation and/or redness at the injection sites for one to three days, but this should not interfere with your regular activities. Results will begin to appear within a month of treatment. Maximum collagen regeneration occurs around the three month mark and will last anywhere from 6-18 months.
