New to injections? Let’s go over the basics quickly so you know what we’re talking about when we get into details. 

• Neuromodulators: Designed to smooth and prevent lines, wrinkles and folds from dynamic muscle movement. These include brands like BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, and XEOMIN.
• HA gels: Colloquially known as dermal fillers, HA gels are great at restoring volume, and sculpting facial contours. These include Hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers like Restylane®, Belotero®, and Juvéderm®.
• Biostimulators: These increasingly popular regenerative injectable treatments incite natural collagen and elastin production, offering lift, contour, and skin conditioning. These include Radiesse® and Sculptra®.
• Hydration boosters: Microdroplet HA treatments fan larger areas of skin to offer long-lasting skin hydration. Brands include Juvéderm® SkinVive and Restylane® Skinboosters.

“My under eye circles look deeper and more hollow lately, and I have folds and lines on my face that are getting deeper with age.”

Aging is a gift that offers wisdom, experiences and insight into what really matters in life. We also collect creases, and folds from repeated smiles, frowns, surprises and laughs, like treasures over time. As these lines form, our bodies simultaneously slow collagen and elastin production, which leads to skin laxity and deepens hollows under our eyes. The perky fat pads we had in our youth descend with decreasing support, and deeper creases appear under the eye. 

This example demonstrates how we treated these concerns with a multi-modal, personalized, plan including HA gels and neuromodulators.

The creases under her eyes are softened with carefully placed HA gel. Filling her undereye hollows brings attention back to her eyes and lifts the whole face. 

We applied neuromodulators to address concerns about folds and deep lines. Neuromodulators between the brow and around the eyes relax the muscles causing those creases. This lessens lines now, and prevents the deepening of those lines over time. 

“I have a funny bump on my nose.”

Tell the average person about wanting to smooth a line on their nose and their mind will jump right to surgery. But liquid rhinoplasty is a long-lasting, simple way of changing your nose shape without surgical intervention. Dermal fillers can effortlessly smooth the silhouette of the nose by filling out dips or curves below or above the area you’re wanting to change. If there’s a big bump that bothers you on your nose, adding some fullness above or below can smooth that line for a more subtle curve. So whether you’re looking for a more smooth nose shape or wanting to subtly lessen the intensity of a bump or rivet, liquid rhinoplasty with dermal fillers is a great way to try out different ways of smoothing and recontouring the shape of your beautiful nose.

“I want the lines around my eyes to be softer and my jawline to be stronger.”

This patient came to us noticing his crow’s feet were starting to reach further down the cheeks when he smiled. To address this creasing, we used a neuromodulator to relax the responsible muscles, softening the lines around the eyes yet leaving enough to look natural and subtle. We also applied strategic neuromodulator to give his lateral brow a lift, and HA gels to pronounce his chin and create a stronger, better-defined jawline. 

“I have nasolabial lines that I’d like to correct.”

This patient came to us with concerns about her nasolabial lines–the folds from the nostrils to the outside corners of the lips. Our skilled team analyzed her presentation and determined that specific treatment to the nasolabial folds would only enhance the perioral anatomy–there was underlying migration from treatment by her previous provider, accentuating the perception of these lines. Under the guidance of our aesthetic physicians, a full lip dissolve was performed, followed by the addition of 2mls of HA filler over 2 sessions, to restore symmetry and harmony.
